Local resources that may be helpful in your research

Rosewood Library has a Local History Room. You will find a number of resources there such as Rosewood Then and Now and German Settlement in the Rosewood Scrub both published by Rosewood Scrub Historical Society. These two are also available in the general library collection.

Picture Ipswich on the Ipswich Libraries Website has extensive resources, maps, interviews, photographs etc.

Another repository of local information is The Rosewood Scrub Historical Society in Marburg as mentioned above. They have a great collection of photographs, some local family histories and a number of publications.

Pioneers & Past Times of Rosewood and surrounds was created by past member Jane Schy.

Bordering on Rosewood is the Lockyer Valley so the Lockyer Valley Rosewood Scrub Pioneers and their extended families Facebook Group is another place to check.

Ipswich Historical Society is based at Cooneana Homestead and has a museum.
